He debuted in first-class cricket in January 2015, then built a name in South Africa's domestic game, topping the CSA T20 Challenge wicket charts in 2020-21.
Wikipedia dates his first-class debut to 22 January 2015 for South Western Districts, while the Seattle Orcas profile says he began with Griqualand West in 2014-15, so the team needs checking.
He was among the leading wicket-takers in the 2020-21 CSA T20 Challenge and was called up for South Africa's tour of Pakistan, but withdrew and did not travel. Sources differ on the reason.

At Pomona on 5 July he took 3 for 9 from four overs, including Faf du Plessis, as Seattle held Texas to 112 for 9 and won by nine runs, the lowest total ever defended in MLC.
